Cool,

I was looking for some place where I could post my stupid thoughts that are not relevant to any game and chat with people regardless on the game they actualy play or plan to play, I was about to create it and then I found out someone else already did, thank you :)) ...it exists here :)

As I am not famous for my patience, I think I will stop reading EQ2 boards. On the other hand, this place looks like nice quite one :)

So, how are you all? After my change of job, it still did not calm up much with regards to free time. Still few.

We tried to play D&D Online, it was fun for about 4 weeks, but due to lack of time and perhaps game content, we stopped. We means Gen, Almyr and myself. We actualy met in that some game people that we knew from EQ2, it was nice.

After that we started to play EVE online, seems like nice second game. Even when you have no time at all, you can have feeling like your character is progressing in meanwhile. Although with my style of playing it is more like off-line game that you chat about with your friends, more then real online mmorpg.

...and Vanguards seems not to have player driven cities....

...bla bla bla... feel better now :)

I know what you mean Arnalix re EVE Online being an "Offline" game. I played the 14 day trial, twice, and thoroughly enjoyed it. However by the second time I was playing it, all I was doing was logging on, choosing my skill sets to level up, and then logging off. Pretty boring tbh.

Re Vanguard, what do you mean by it not having player driven cities?

Ari.

I bought Guild Wars, no subscription. Game has PvE story line and PvP battlegrounds (arena) on top if you like it.

You are opening skills in PvE to use it in PvP. There is new expansion called Nightfall with more PvE content.

Game looks nice, runing smooth on not so good configurations.

Heddy has just got on the beta for Vanguard he has posted on here somewhere to say where he will be. Suggest that be moved to a new topic also.
